So I am not going to grad school as I had hoped to after graduating this June. I am still waiting to hear from Harvard, USD, and Brown; but in all honesty getting into grad school is a very hard thing to do right out of an undergrad. So yes I am a little bummed BUT I can audition for those programs in a year or so.
So, what am I going to do post-grad? Who knows!! I will probably stay in Santa Barbara for the summer to work and save up money. Then I will probably move somewhere. My roommate and I have been talking about being moving buddies since moving to a city where you know no one freaks us both out. Maybe New York? Maybe Seattle? Maybe San Francisco? Maybe London! We shall see...
I have been looking into doing other things as well. Thought it might be fun to work on a cruise ship, see the world and get paid to travel! Or interning for my parent's good friend who does props for movies...
The point is, my future is a blank page. I get to chose how it is written. And while I find that horribly terrifying, it is also really exciting!!
